2.5. Themes of culpability, willful ignorance, resentments, loss, and the moral costs of wealth and success. I thought it would be more exciting, and it just wasn't my cup of tea - that's why the low rating. If you like literary fiction, or need to write an essay, you would probably like this alot!

Decent beach/airplane book. A few too many characters, the first 1/3 seems very disconnected from the rest. I thought it was going in an interesting direction a few times but then it fizzled out. Interesting character concepts, but they mostly ricochet off of each other. Many of the seemingly important plot details don't matter other than serving as evidence of how someone is "messed up."

A departure from station eleven but beautifully written. Although it's not largely plot driven it feels poignant. Why don't you swallow broken glass
