Ja gewoon weer heerlijk hoor! Je hebt wel een aantal van die punten dat je denkt 'hoe gaat Julia dit nou weer rechtbreien' en sommige zaken gingen wel erg van een leiden dakje, maar ik heb gewoon weer heel veel leesplezier gehad en dat is waar het allemaal om draait!

Um??? Okay, some parts amazing, but I cannot stand how

Daniel refuses to leave Ann alone, which is especially jarring when the rest of the book is all about how Ann had her agency taken away and was sexually assaulted (a couple of times) by a different man.

Bringing back my reminder that Julia Quinn might need a lesson on consent.

Fade, plat et ennuyeux ... Autant j'ai vraiment aimé le 1er tome, autant là j'ai trouvé les dialogues parfois décousus (mais c'est volontaire), la romance passe-partout et sans charme et les héros bien trop bien charismatiques à mon goût.

Bref, un loupé en ce qui me concerne. :/
