Funny and delightful! Good escapist reading for a lazy vacation. My review is here.

This is my first 5-star read in 2024 and after such a long time.
Literally this book got me in the very first chapter when Daniel Winstead fell in love at first sight with Anne Wynter. And after that I just kept on flying through the pages that before I knew it, I have actually reached the middle of the book.
The story was gripping, fast-paced and a pleasure to read. I’ve read this so quickly that I didn’t had the chance to take notes which I did for the previous books that I was reading. It only goes to show how interested and absorbed I was in the story.
We get alternating perspectives of our main leads. Nothing beats the male lead’s POV when he’s describing his attraction for the female lead. I love their moments of flirtation and I was smiling all through it.
