I liked that the story was written through different points of view and how they intertwine as you read. What I enjoyed the most is that, as you read, it maintains the tension and mystery while also exposes current problems that you can relate to.
It is not a book that everyone will like because it has violent scenes and is very ambiguous. If you like books that are weird, you will probably like this book.

Me gusta como cuenta la historia mediante diferentes puntos de vista y como se entrelazan a medida que vas leyendo. Lo que más me gustó es que, a medida que lees, se mantiene la tensión y el misterio a la vez que expone problemas actuales con los que te puedes sentir identificado, como problemas con el dinero, problemas familiares, etc.
Me gusta como cuenta la historia mediante diferentes puntos de vista y como se entrelazan a medida que vas leyendo. Lo que más me gustó es que, a medida que lees, se mantiene la tensión y el misterio a la vez que expone problemas actuales con los que te puedes sentir identificado, como problemas con el dinero, problemas familiares, etc.
No es un libro que le vaya a gustar a todo el mundo porque tiene escenas violentas y es muy ambiguo. Si te gustan los libros que se suelen catalogar como raros, probablemente te vaya a gustar este libro.

Very well written, but sadly the story wasn’t what I wanted or expected it to be. It also has a very human-like cat as a character, which is my personal pet peeve.
It has much less description of body horror and a lot more description of life under the pressures of capitalism. It also felt like we spent much more time story-telling wise outside of the theme park than inside it.
I personally didn’t think the magical realism (the jelly massacre from the title) needed an explanation and the explanation we get is very underwhelming… I had great hopes for this one, which makes my disappointment even greater!

There really wasn't anything wrong with this, and was quite entertaining. Perhaps some suspense was lost in translation, and this felt more of a literary fiction than horror dystopia.
