So ends another series that builds up the bad boy image and dresses it up to make it look desirable or at least realistic. In reality, none of this would work. Ever. But hey, that’s what fiction is for. I’ll be honest, I fell asleep at the end while listening to the audiobook, and, unlike the others, I felt that I didn’t need to repeat the last couple of chapters I missed. Reformed criminal finally stops feeling sorry for himself and accepts a good thing, and a strong cop starts to put her determination to good use. The world-building and relationship dynamics in these books are well done. They encapsulate what a found family should be. But would I reread them or recommend them? It depends. Asa was not the best of the series, but it was a good one to round everything off as we leave the Marked Men behind.

"We all had marks, some physical, some emotional, some that would never leave us, and many of those marks were of our own making as we all tried to get to the place we were supposed to be. Our marks defined us, separated us, and made us the men we were today. One fact that non of us up here on this altar could dispute was that the most important mark, the most lasting mark we all carry with us, came from falling in love with the remarkable women that stood across from us.We were marked and had been marked in unforgettable and forever ways. We were all better man for it. Marked men. Non of us would have it any other way."

Finally finished this series!!! It's a bit bittersweet, even though there's 2 spinoff series I have yet to tackle.
I loved seeing Asa's growth throughout the books, and believe Royal to be his perfect match. We also got to see the other couples a bunch, so there were updates on all of them which is just what I was hoping for.
Now that I'm done, it's time for my final series ranking ahem ahem:
Jet > Nash > Rowdy > Asa > Rule > Rome.
Thank you for your attention.
