I wish we got to see more of the development of the boys’ feelings and relationship over time. I also felt like it would’ve been fine ending much earlier than it did. Our Ever After was lovely to read, and Tane-kun is such a sweet and funny addition to the love story.
As in a lot of queer manga, the characters need to work on consent.

Besides how adorable this manga is, I really liked the mangaka's way of presenting each person's relationship with food & grief :
Yutaka - Bullied for the way he looks while eating, and was pushed into a corner of miserably eating alone to the point where his food was tasteless.
Minoru - Craved his deceased mom's cooking, and feels no joy eating food while trying to do his best for his younger brother.
Tane - Just a cute baby enjoying food.

Throughout the story, there were several heartwarming scenes of the new family eating together, and I loved that there was absolutely no shaming in how each one of them enjoyed it, and they simply wanted to have it together as a family

ok, now I should stop reading at 4 am

Our Dining Table is honestly the sweetest thing I have ever read!! I was almost in tears from how soft and warm it was. And right now, I just want to start reading it all over again! 🥺🥰

I think the thing I loved the most was that it focused on how food can bring people together. And the love that can bloom from a simple act of kindness. I also really liked the anxiety rep in this. Both Yutaka and Minoru are so relatable in that respect. I’m giving this a full five stars. If you’re looking for something soft and sweet and heartwarming to read, give this manga a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I fell in love with Tane!!! He is just a precious little bean!!! So dear and cute!! There are certain scene that I felt angry. Ie; Yutaka's brother. Damn! Why was he just a dick! I know it was short but geez... Anyways, I know for a fact that Yutaka's family has their reasons but still the level of ignorant and neglect towards Yutaka are just beyond.. I am so glad Yutaka and Minoru found each other's warmth and love in the end and Yutaka are not bother by his family neglegance. Overall, They are so precious family. I love them so much!!!
