This book is SO frustrating I swear... I couldn't help but think "why is she doing this, staying with the same boy which literally shows each time that he isn't a fit for her?!"
But the end... Chef's kiss. Perfect. Everything falls into place. #teamConrad

Ahhh, where to start? I liked this one a bit more than the other 2, and I think it's bcs of Conrad's pov. I read this while listening to the audiobook, which made it even better. After reading this, I noticed that Jeremiah's pov's were not fleshed out, and that Conrad's were a bit longer. Maybe bcs for Belly, it was Conrad all along?
In my opinion, Belly & Jeremiah should have never gotten engaged in the first place. After she found out that Jeremiah was very quick to mess with another girl, he must have been shaking in his boots for Belly to run to Conrad, which is one of the reasons I believe Jeremiah proposed. If that's not the case, why rush? Hmm? QUICKLY!! Both of them were not ready to get married AT ALL. I laughed out loud when Jeremiah told his dad the budget was 1K. Jeremiah's immaturity showed so many times, I couldn't contain myself from rolling my eyes
I feel like Jeremiah is fun, but Conrad is the real husband material, and I'm standing 10 toes down on that. I think it's kinda obvious I'm team Conrad, hehe. The yearning, his thoughts, his love for Belly, I was there for it all.I was also wondering from book 2 what the whole "infinity" thing meant, and I am glad that I now know (unless I missed something in the second book). The writing was also a bit better than the other books, but the story dragged out so badly. I had a couple of chuckles and gags at some sentences. The ending was way too fast, and more time could have been spent on it.
As for the other characters, I grew to like Taylor, and I am glad she grew out of whatever phase she was in. Steven seems to be level-headed, and Laurel stays Laurel (QUEEN <3). I liked Anika's introduction, and I also love how Susannah was kept alive throughout this book. Also, do we ever get to know what Susannah specifically wrote in Conrad's letter...?
As far as comparing the trilogy with the tv show: I like it so much more than the books. With time passing between the books and the premiere of this show, it modernized very well, and they made the right changes from the book imo. I'm happy with the adaptation bcs I don't think I would have started the first book, much less have finished them all. I think it's because it's very character-based with not much plot. The embodiment of the characters in the show is what made me like it so much. Glad I read this trilogy this summer, and I'm curious about the remaining episodes.
