At the end of the day, this is the book I will always come back to. I first read The Summer I Turned Pretty series over ten years ago now and they were the books that made me fall completely in love with reading. I loved everything about them: the storytelling, the setting, the characters, every damn thing I loved. We’ll Always Have Summer will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s my comfort book, the one I tend to re-read every year if possible and it’s the book that makes me feel the exact same emotions I felt when I first read it. With the third season of the tv show currently airing it only felt right to revisit the book and it did not disappoint.

i stayed up all night to finish this book! i honestly wish that we had more time with billy and conrad though. this book had me laughing, smiling, gasping, and judd feeling all the emotions.

Everyone was a little annoying throughout but I'm glad it ended the way it did. It was a well-built love triangle in that one couldn't really predict who was gonna be with who because they're all awful to each other at times so.
Lowkey wished we had more time in the epilogue as we spent a lot of time building up to the endgame and didn't even get to enjoy it for plot twist's sake.
