The inn at the end of the world is a place where stories are shared while the patrons are waiting for the storm to pass. This book has some of the most engaging and poetic story arcs of Sandman. I enjoyed the variety of the stories and the different art styles of each one.

I like the stories tied together, like this. It has been a while since I read volume 7, so it took me a while to figure out who the Endless were mourning.
3.5⭐️ More short stories. At this point, eight books into a series, the short story diversions tire me when there’s the larger plot happening (I like them outside of that).
I wasn't as big of a fan of this one. I really liked the previous two volumes but I struggled to get into the stories of this one. The ending sure packs a whallop, but overall this volume is just a 3 for me.
This is the one where travelers find themselves sharing stories at the Inn at the End of the World. Fantastic!
