A good overview. The format makes it a little difficult to find what you need at times, but I'm glad I had it on hand, especially in the early months.
I honestly didn't read EVERY WORD, but I appreciated how it was laid out so it was easy to skip to the things that are relevant to you. This should definitely be read with a grain of salt, but probably worth the .25 I spent on it.
After using What to Expect When You're Expecting as a guide through pregnancy, this book was a natural choice for a guide through the first year. I thought it was good and I plan to get the next book in the series for the 2nd year.

The ubiquitous guide. Always good to have on hand. Pretty much covers it all for the first year. No, I didn't read it cover to cover but it's good to go to when you have questions.
Helped answer my many questions as a new parent and calm anxious worries of the unknown.
A good book for knowing important developmental milestones. Lots of various topics, but doesn't give a lot of info about the topics. A mothers instinct is still best....

I'm technically still reading this book - making my way through as the baby gets older, but I'm tired of seeing it on my "currently reading" list so it's getting a review now. I have to say that although I did not like the "what to expect when you're expecting" book too much, this one has been full of very helpful information. Good as reference and one of several "instruction manuals".
