Do you want to read thousands of rhetorical questions? Enjoy seeing breakout boxes that say exactly the same thing as the main text on the same page? Looking for advice on dealing with situations as esoteric as "my baby got stung by a jellyfish"? Then this is the book for you.
It's nice having everything you can think of in one place -- the month-by-month average milestones (and, even better, normal ranges of outcomes) was especially informative -- but I didn't always trust it to be scientifically rigorous. I don't know yet how helpful all the info will be, of course.

Not going to rate this because I didn't read that much of it. What to Expect When You're Expecting was such a crutch for me. I read it almost every day when I was pregnant. Then when my son was born, I read this book for the first few months but after that, I just didn't pick it up anymore. I found I learned by doing.
Tries too hard to please everyone. Includes outdated or just plain wrong info. Also useful info, so perhaps a good book to skim, it for a second opinion.
