The women were relatable and their stories interesting, but Lisa Taddeo's writing is unbelievably grating.

Lovely language but ultimately boring and depressing. First half is stronger than the second I really found myself wanting it to end, and it was wholly unsatisfying. Unsure why this is so lauded and popular.
