I mean it was interesting and kinda cute but I don’t really think these two stories was necessary for the actual series...

I wish there was more story about her brother. Like maybe a short story about her parents before they died. This was cute little stories. I like to see how they were because they grew up and become soldiers. I'd like a story on how the United States fell and became what it is in the story. I also wish her brother didn't die I really like his character. Overall good series.

No brinda mucha información, simplemente son dos relatos cortos que ayudan a entender la personalidad de Day y June. Esta bien si eres fan de la trilogía.

That was a nice addition to the story.

I liked that this novel was split in two parts: one for Day and one for June.

It was interesting to see how life was for both of them three years before Legend.

I thought that this novel would stop me from lusting after Prodigy that much, but now I just can't wait to get my hands onto a copy of it!!

Two sweet, quick stories featuring a 12 year old Day and June. I liked June's story more, probably because she's my favourite in the series. A bit too weak to sell for money though. I know 2€ aren't much but the stories wold've made nice promotional freebies, too.

I personally usually find novellas unecessary and annoying, but I must admit this novella was different. I don't know if it is because I've grown attached to June and Day, but seeing their lives before their official meeting was rather interesting. I haven't read Champion just yet, plan on doing so in a couple of months maybe, but I would love to see some of the side characters mentioned in this novella again. Although it was a little short to my liking, this novella fulfilled my need to read more on the protagonists before the story's final chapter. Different from the majority of novellas, I feel like this one is a must for the fans of the trilogy.

I really enjoyed this little snippet of Day’s life on the streets when he was younger. It was cool to see where he started and some events that shaped him into who he is. Personally I don’t think I could ever give a short story 5 stars because it seems wrong to put it on the same level as entire books I’ve given 5 stars but I thoroughly enjoyed this :) also I read this after reading rebel, idk if that’s important
