What do you do when you receive a text from your fiancé the day of your wedding that wasn’t meant for you but for the woman he is cheating with? Why you kick him in the face at the altar, at least that’s what Veronica did.
With nothing to her name but the clothes on her back Veronica walks into a small town diner looking for a life line, when she finds one in the shape of being a nanny for the summer to a set of twins she jumps at the chance, the only problem, is single dad Austin who just doesn’t trust the crazy lady standing on his porch in a wedding dress.

Why have I waited so long to read a Melanie Harlow book?
This was such perfection, I have no words.
Austin is the perfect mix of grumpy, sexy, protective, stable, kind, all with a mouth of a sailor on leave.
I loved these two together, loved watching Veronica find herself again and trust each other.
Excuse me while I go binge all of Melanie Harlows books.

I had been in a bit of a "not so great" book choices slump and really needed the escape that this book provided. Easy read, nice spice, good character development. Story line is kind of predictable but aren't all HEAs? Overall just the right amount of tension, romance and characters. Already downloaded book 2.

Quick read. Entertaining single dad x nanny romance (without a huge age gap). Small town

This was my first Melanie Harlow book and it did not disappoint! I'm sad I waited this long to read one of her books! I loved the characters and this small town. I laughed so much at this book it was a breath of fresh air! I can't wait to read more of her books!
