More of the same and that's not a bad thing! Comforting, cozy, not-too-deep charming sports romance.

Don't mind the quick pace, but some ideas are introduced only to not be mentioned again. This matches the framing device of Bitty's vlogs, but... let's be serious, it's a weak framing device that is even less kept up with in Volume 2.

But more than anything, the very happy ending delivers with
Bitty's graduation, speech, and engagement announcement
all just feeling like a warm hug for the readers.

Beautiful and heartfelt, a great conclusion. My only complaints were that this book kind of seemed like we were seeing the two years in fast forward. What the first book thrived in was that it could cover two years but still made it seem like you got to see almost all of the moments from those years. I didn't feel that in this book. Everything seemed a bit rushed, especially in Junior year, and I feel like the moments it did spend a lot of time and full scenes on, were not as important (Mainly some of the random scenes of Jack and his new team.) My only other complaint is that the new team members were not developed hardly at all. I was really excited to see the new group of tadpoles and seeing them grow, but none of them got any development and that made me sad. I still love this book because of the connections I have with these characters but I really feel like it failed on the front of hockey and the team which it covered so well in the first book. Still a great conclusion though.

Such a sweet and amazing ending. I really love this story! This series is something I read over and over again every time I need something comforting.

A fun, quick read. A perfect ending to the first book and the story in general.
