Pleasantly surprised by this one. It felt a bit like Interesting Facts About Space, with an awkward introvert main character and navigating relationships, plus the knockoff Ikea setting is great.

The book was a romcom for the first half then switched to a thriller in the last half. Even though I saw all of it coming from a mile away I still loved it. Had to knock a star off because I wanted to puke every time Mat called Ava “Lamby”

WOWWW SO GOOD the ending?? I stayed up for 2 hours so anxious trying to finish it!!! I haven’t been that wrapped up in a plot since maybe like.. harry potter. I was so nervous. In a good way! Insane book and i love the rom com parts too - i read this while walking so much. I read at least 150 pages while i was walking bc it was easy fun reading.
edit: only after reading the comments i see that people are saying its a thriller… i disagree. think it was a dramatic rom com! It was all about romance until the end and also i laughed so much but it was dramatic
