A cute little cozy mystery with a snarky cat familiar!! This book takes place in a supernatural community called Winterspell where no one has to hide their abilities. A handsome out of towner comes into Wicked Wicks looking for a gift for his mom. The next day he’s accused of murder and the mystery ensues!

So... I just stayed up until almost 2am finishing reading this... In one sitting. Honestly have to say, I really enjoyed this. Wasn't expecting to read the whole book, but once I got into the story, it was really hard to put it down. The writing was decent, and the dialogue was great. Yes, I am a huge fan of Selene. How can you NOT be a fan of that SASS?! Sorry... Sleep deprivation obviously doesn't lend well to writing book reviews. I actually have to say, that the murderer was not someone I suspected at first. They were in the general list of suspects, but I wrote them off after a bit. So it was a bit of a twist. And there were several twists I never saw coming. Definitely interested in reading the next book in the series!

This novel was recommended to me by a friend in a book group on Facebook. I wanted something different and needed to get out of my comfort zone, so when she recommended this cozy mystery to me I was little unsure of what to expect.
This book was such a fun, cozy, and paranormal mystery. It was definitely a winner for me! Probably one of the best books I have read all year! Man, what a hit! I loved Selene the talking cat, and all her snarky comments because at times they were totally relatable, haha.
5/5 Stars: Highly recommend to anyone needing a quick read or a refresh. This cozy mystery was such a hit for me, it was comforting to read and gave me good vibes. I loved everything about it and the small little witchy town. Cannot wait to pick up and read the other novels in the series!
