Gabe is my favorite of the Savage Crew guys. All of these stories have been really emotional, but Gabe is my guy! He’s so well developed now with his appearances in the prior books, and you want to root for him even when he’s being a stupid dick.

I had a feeling Gabe’s book would be my favorite and I was right! Gabriel Fuller has been my favorite character since book 1 and I was pretty stoked he got his own book. I was a little worried going in though, because the theme so far has been “Bully romance” and I just didn’t think Gabe fit into the bully category. I was happy to find out that his book had more of an Enemies to Lovers/Second Chance Romance kinda vibe. Did Gabe do some questionable sh*t? I mean, yeah. He’s Gabe. But he wasn’t as….forceful and angry as the previous guys. And I totally loved Pen. I thought she was really good for Gabe. Read this book in one sitting like the others, but I think in half the time! I legit couldn’t put it down!

I was so excited to read Gabe's story!! He is one of my favorite characters from this series! Although Burn it Down is a standalone, I highly recommend reading the first two books in this series. It will give you an idea about Gabe's character and his relationship dynamics with his friends. And in this novel we get to witness his character get more unravelled. Burn it Down is a second chance and enemies to lovers romance. Penelope (heroine) could be seen as being a "sweet, nice and good girl" but that's just an image of her to the outside world. She has so many suppressed emotions that she's trying to keep at bay; she's really good at concealing her emotions.  She doesn't easily lose her temper, but there is one person who gets on nerves, Gabe. And Gabe, well, he immensely enjoys annoying Penelope; he sure does love to push her buttons.

Penelope isn't the same person she use to be.  She was a scared, shy and timid girl. Penelope may seem to hate Gabe, but she cannot deny that she's attracted to him. Gabe irrevocably hurt Penelope in the past, and she's not going to allow him to hurt her again. I really like Penelope's character, there's more to her than meets the eye. Her body image issues affect her deep down inside. I loved seeing more of Gabe's character in this book! There were a lot of unresolved issues between them, and they were keen on resolving those issues in time. Overall, another great read by Julia Wolf! Even though I'm not a huge fan of Elena's character (a side character that was introduced in book #1) I really enjoyed seeing her character in this book; my perspective of her character changed completely. And I'm super excited to read the spinoff series!

Gabe and Penelope had a relationship when they were in their early teens. After her humiliating and heartbreaking breakup, Penelope avoided Gabe like the black plague. Their paths haven't crossed, until now. Penelope is in trouble and has her work cut out for her. She just realized that she got Gabe's attention but at the same time she wants to steer clear away from his path. Gabe needs help and Penelope is the only person who can provide the assistance he desperately needs.

Warning. Do NOT read in public. Otherwise you will find yourself sobbing on a public beach in the middle of a bright sunny summer afternoon.

The questions concerned citizens and your family ask will only make you cry harder as you ty to explain WHY Gabe is breaking you open and you can’t stop the tears.

This is the book Gabe more than deserved. It is everything.

And after I stopped crying my soul was happy for him. This book ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was beautiful. I read this series all out of order but what stuck out in the other two books was Gabe. And to find out he had darkness in him...It was everything. I really was on the edge of my seat through this because the relationship between Gabe and Pen was so complex and had so much back and forth I almost started biting my nails. Not only that but everything (and I do mean all the things) going on in the background not only pulling them in all directions and apart. It had such depth and this entire series has quite frankly been everything. I honestly cannot wait to see where this author goes next. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
