I'm not sure. I just wasn't connecting with the couple, which kind of surprised me because I kinda liked them in the background of the other books. It might be in part because I don't understand why they aren't together, so it just reads as forced to me. No shade on anyone who is here for it!

Enjoyable and overall lighthearted second-chance romance. Gotta love a happy ever after especially for these two!

It’s definitely a slow burn, all of the books are and I wish we had more of the after, but so far I love them all so much, this book had me crying so many times. Last book left and I’m so excited!!

Loved this addition to the Sit a Spell series. It’s the slow burn of Jules and Rueben’s relationship that gets me! Reuben’s waited patiently, and ever since they started working closer together, it’s been inevitable. Great chemistry between them. Only one more and a Christmas story to go!
