Honestly, this book was a bit boring. I was afraid of that but hoped I was wrong. I had the same problem as I did with the others: all the characters sound the same. It's almost like reading the same book over and over again, and not a very good one.

Finally we get to hear the Juliana and Ruben back story and it does NOT disappoint!  So glad they get their second- chance romance, with a side of magic- packed action, of course. 😉

What to expect: witch/vampire, second chance romance, correcting social injustices, one bed

After binging the first 4 books (and the novellas) via audio, I finished just in time for the newest book to be released! Since the audio is not out yet, this was the first one I physically read and I tabbed it!

I was so excited for this one since Jules & Ruben are in the previous books, and you just KNOW that these two are in love, but denying it.

In this book, the second chance romance did not disappoint. Jules and Ruben were able to grow individually and become their own people, they worked together to correct social injustices in the supernatural community, and THEN they made me bite my fist and blush multiples times.

Oh also, this book starts with a prologue of when they were first together and it’s a case of “this books starts with a bang” 💥
