This will surely be one of those reviews that is super vague and way too short to really do justice to just how great of a story it really is. However it's almost completely impossible to write anything without giving away too much of the story.
You'll fall in love with Kyle and Addison and then they'll break your heart. There will be confusion and anger, there will be understanding and hope. You'll smile, you'll tear up and you'll definitely want to smack a few people but overall you'll just want to keep reading.
I got lost in the story and Kyle and Addison became my friends, I was fully invested in them. The writing is flawless. This is how to tell a love story.
This is a must read!

This was the first I have read from this author and I am looking forward to reading more. The story is told from Kyle's POV and starts when he is away for the summer during high school. The book shows how fate can play a role in love and we may never even see it. I thought it was truly a sweet book but kept me guessing as what was yet to come. There was even a great twist that I did not see happening. I felt this story was more unique than others. It was a story of young love lost and reunited but had a lot more barriers. I look forward to reading Jen's story next.

* Reviewed for Kylie's Fiction Addiction.

I loved this book! The first 70% of this book had me either in tears or near tears. It was such an emotional roller coaster! At the heart of the story, is an epic love story between Kyle and Addison. They meet two summers in a row at the lake, and they are instantly imprinted on each other. Tragedy, loss, separation, marriage, divorce, and years cannot break the connection they have. The interconnectedness of all these characters' lives and how it all played out, just made my heart pitter-pat. I really enjoyed becoming part of their world.
