The storyline did have me wanting to quit my full time job and become a professional athlete. I loved the opening section talking of her inspiring father and hard training and the belief in herself. But my love did end there. I just couldn’t relate or cheer for the main character.

TJR is a beast of a writer - it felt like I was on the court with them. At times, I found Carrie quite annoying, but I guess that was the point. A great story!!
