This was actually so good????

I had zero expectations going into this but I love a badass bisexual assassin FMC and a broody MMC with violet eyes and so HERE I AM

Seriously, Keera may be one of my new favorite characters and I just want everything to turn out okay for her in the end !!!

Okay maybe I made this up in my head but I went into this book thinking it was sapphic and it’s not which is fine but like how did I get misled like that…other than that I did enjoy it I just was waiting for something that would never happen I guess

and I know that she had a previous relationship with a woman but like we get 1 flashback of that so that’s not exactly what I was looking for went I started this book expecting a queer romance to develop

There isn't anything wrong with this book, it just wasn't gripping me. I figured I'd give it until about the halfway mark to see if I started to have fun with it, and I just wasn't excited to pick it up. It could have been a mood issue on my part, but overall, I was just looking for a fun, brain candy read and this wasn't giving me what I was looking for.
