The world building was great, the characters richly written and the storyline intriguing and interesting.
Keera is a being faced with terrible choices in which to survive under a cruel king. When she searches for his biggest nemesis she decides she is tired of living in this cruel way.

If I could give this a -3.5 stars, I would. I did not like the main character at all. She annoyed me, and I didn't find the fact she was such a drunk to be at all appealing. The fact it was mentioned almost every page just got on my nerves!

Nothing against the author, I'm sure the book is great - I can see from a lot of reviews people loved the book, but it was not for me.
