This book is a very short and small book, but despite it being very short I still had a really hard time finishing it. Unfortunately, I think because the stories were so short, I had a really hard time feeling connected to the women and their stories. I do applaud McEwen for bringing up money and trying to get rid of the taboo with talking about money! I could see this working well as a show where the real women were telling these stories in real life. However, it just didn't work for me in book form.
