This was probably the most disappointing graphic novel I've read so far. There were some good scenes but I just wasn't feeling the characters. I didn't like Ari and he and Hector didn't have any chemistry.

This needed to be longer! Very sweet and cozy baking vibes, and the blue tones of the art were calming. I wanted a little more storytelling around their relationship though. Nick and Charlie vibes!

This one wasn't for me. The two main characters weren't fleshed out well and the climax was very contrived. I loved the art style though!

Sweet coming of age story that follows one boy becoming a man and deciding who he wants to be. There’s a small love story too that’s really sweet. It was a quick light read.

Bloom is a very sweet story, and it's honestly quite relatable to how many of us feel when we're getting older but not entirely sure what drives us at the moment. The choice to use blue scale for the entire graphic novel took so getting used to, but the artwork was rather nice. I appreciated the depiction of a toxic friendship because often times one person overlooks it for so long even with people trying to make it clearer, so that was a nice realistic touch. Glad I found this on a whim at the library and would recommend it! Ari (Aristotle) and Hector are too cute though!
