I liked this better than the first! Maybe that’s because Rooke’s character seems well-rounded and less one-dimensional than Drax? My only issue is

like it takes until 50% through before they consider that Mordox hasn’t murdered Zoe because she’s his fated. 2/3 of you have just found your fated mates somehow and you don’t think it’s possible the third would? Like these guys are supposed to be smart but like they also don’t even question previously received information once they find out that their government has been lying to them? Ok rant over, suspended disbelief is always required for sci-fi novels, but sometimes I wanted to smack these guys

. In all, I really liked Rooke and Darcy, and their relationship was cute and spicy. Rooke is honestly my favorite of the alien hotties so far! Can’t wait for the next book!
