I have been a huge fan of Anne Rice's vampires for years. This graphic novel adaptation of "The Vampire Lestat" is quite good. The art style (sometimes varying in quality throughout) is essentially 1980s and lush, often haunting and spooky, yet erotic and sexy which is perfect for the world of Anne Rice. I loved seeing this story come to life (considering we have yet to see a good adaptation of Lestat's life). I now really want to reread the books. Good job Faye Perozich!

A good adaptation of this vampire series. It's very well done, but the quality of the artwork seems to change from frame to frame. Some are totally stunning, others look almost not finished.....
Great read, and a great adaptation of a great story!!

Nice adaptation of the story to the comic book style. Cut out all the philosophical. No use. Ugly drawings.

No idea how this might read to someone who has never read the book. Lots of important detail, but it makes for a wonderful reread if you have and you want to dip your toe back into the universe without committing to the full novel.
