I have been waiting for this book to come out since I first started reading Roman a few months ago and immediately devoured Soren and at the end when it said Lucien was next? OH MAN OH MAN.

With Lucien seeming to being so close to becoming feral in Roman, I was so curious on who Grae would pick to be his mate and holy, she did not disappoint.

I absolutely LOVED Jaime with all my heart. I loved how fearless he was with Lucien and was chasing him around determined to protect him and show him love with all his might. How even when another person popped up in his life, he didn't budge from the knowing that his soul mate was arriving, so why waste time on others when his perfect match would arrive in his life? Or when things got hard, he relied on those tiny visions he'd get of Lucien, to help ease his loneliness. How when finally Lucien showed up, and Jamie went for him with all his might.
"I've been waiting for you, you know. What took you so long?"

POOR LUCIEN. My god, my heart broke with hearing all the absolute horror he's been through, losing his "mate" in the past, losing his brother and then on the brink of losing his humanity along with everything, it just tugged at all my heartstrings; How Lucien refused to believe this perfect man, this man made just for him wouldn't leave like everyone else had. This man was SO not ready for Jamie and all the love that Jamie wanted to shower Lucien with. I thoroughly enjoyed how terrified this vampire being over 200 years old was so insanely skittish of Jamie, but his monster? Oh his monster KNEW that Jamie was his and couldn't wait to claim him forever. Lucien's monster was absolutely everything and I cackled maniacally every time he took the stage, how he'd go absolutely feral anytime anyone even LOOKED at Jamie, but then would become the most obedient puppy whenever Lucien was showered with Jamie's attention.

I really loved seeing Roman, Danny and Jay once again, and even the twins! I loved Fox and Dane and I can't wait for them to get their books? Please Grae? Tell me that's happening?! But the next book up is about our precious little bean, Jay, and I cannot WAIT to see what his book will be like.

Audio: Michael Ferraiuolo is one of my all-time favorites! so its always a 5 stars from me.
Book: 4 stars

There is something about this series that just hooks me, and I am not mad about it. I can't wait for the rest of the series to be put on audio!!

Lucien and Jamie were a great match, I do wish we saw more of Jamie and his family but in the end this was a win in my book haha.

I've been waiting, very impatiently, for Lucien to be released, and I'm sooo happy that I got a review copy of it. Ever since I read Roman I've wanted to know more about Luc, because despite him being the 'bad guy' I wanted him to find what he was looking for.

I got the arc yesterday and dived right in, staying up till stupid o'clock to finish it because I just couldn't put it down. Luc is a big bad vampire with some anger management issues, but he's also vulnerable and so afraid of being alone, and abandoned. When he finds Jamie, these insecurities rear up, and he messes up occasionally. Jamie never hesitates though, he stays at his side, calming his 'monster'. He is absolutely perfect for Luc.

I've 100% loved this whole series, Roman and Soren are awesome, but Luc definitely is my favourite.

I'm also happy to see that Jay is getting his own book, and I can't wait to find out more about him.

Entertaining as per the previous volumes. Nice palate cleansers. The story of Lucien went differently than I had expected and I liked it very much.
