Realize that if I wanted to see the conclusion of the story I would have to buy the other books in the series, and I wasn't that much invested in it. The main character was a drip. Nah wasn't doing it for me

There are some interesting story kernels here but a lot of it gets bogged down in worldbuilding and administrative details. Some parts with Rourke's reaction to the alpha, and the alpha's reaction to him, read as a little unclear to me, so I didn't feel like I fully understood how things like pheromones or alpha/omega relationships work in this world. I might try another episode, but I'm not hooked on this story.
