I very rarely write a negative review for a book. The problem with this book is the length, it is well written, however it is not a book. This is may be a fourth of a book that never actually manages to move forward enough to reach any kind of climax.

I suspect it was simply chopped up in order to sell more books.

I loved the concept of this. I'm a fan of the Alpha X Omega dynamic. That was the main reason I decided to read this (besides being free.) But the story didn't feel like it went anywhere. It was just build-up - exposition to get you interested in the follow-up books. The two main characters don't even meet until near the end.

I'd never read an ABO story that was also a sci-fi involving aliens, though... So it had that going for it.

It's also an easy and quick read if anybody wants to try this out. Some day, when I have the time I may go back and read more of this just to see where it's going.
