I have basically read this in a day
Amazing book!
It is soooo cute and as cliched as it was it really was an amazing and well written book
I found myself tearing up at some point and I lost all hope for Alaric and Keeley, its like Maya was trying to mak me depressed or something
Can't wait to read the last book now

This really is my favorite series so far. It's not often I experience emotion while reading - I cried reading this book.
On his way to cement the clans relationship by wooing his betrothed, Alaric is ambushed. Saved by an outcast healer, he finds himself falling in love with her.
I absolutely loved this book. Alaric and Keeley's relationship was so romantic and so emotional. I sat on the edge of my seat anxious to find out how these two will find a way to be together.
Alaric is to be wed to Gregor McDonald's daughter, Rionna. This marriage is to combine the lands of the McCabe and McDonald clans in an effort to defeat Duncan Cameron. The marriage is very important to the McCabe clan and Alaric feels like he must do what is necessary to secure his clan's safety. On his way to officially ask for Rionna's hand, Alaric is ambushed and left for dead. His horse takes him to a small cottage on McDonald land and an angel nurses Alaric back to health.
Keeley has been cast out by her own clan. She lives alone on the meager wages she earns as a healer. When Alaric arrives at her door, bleeding and almost dead, she puts her healing skills to work to save the warrior. Eventually the McCabe's find Alaric and whisk him back home, along with Keeley. They need a healer and Keeley must stay until Mairin delivers her baby. Keeley is more than willing to stick around. She is extremely attracted to Alaric and he feels the same. When she finds out that Alaric is betrothed to Keeley's former best friend and cousin, her heart breaks. She tries to keep her distance from Alaric but the attraction she feels for him is to strong to resist. Keeley decides to have this short time together so that she will have fond memories of it once Alaric is no longer hers.
Seduction of a Highland Lass is a story about selflessness, duty and sacrifice. Alaric and Keeley know that they can't be together despite the wild attraction between them. Alaric is willing to fore go love in order to secure his clan's future and feels that it is the least he could do, since Ewan has sacrificed so much for the clan. Every character stepped up to the plate in supporting Alaric and Keeley's brief relationship. I loved how the clan rallied around Kelleya and made her one of their own. The surprising Keeley champion was Caelen. He was such an ass in the beginning but as the story progressed, Caelen became Keeley's biggest supporter and protector.
Seduction of a Highland Lass was such a great, romantic story. It had a Romeo and Juliet feel to it. Two people in love who can't be together; star-crossed lovers. Alaric as the tortured hero was written to perfection. I absolutely loved Alaric. You could feel his struggle between his duty with his family and wanting to be with the woman he loves. Keeley's character is similar to Mairin; feisty, strong-willed, doesn't hold her tongue.
The ending was so sad and romantic. Be prepared for tears. I did not want the story to end. Can I say again how much I loved this book? I highly recommend it. It is one of my favorite reads of the year. I loved it that much!

My fave so far
I must say Keely and Alaric’s story was pretty darn good. It hit me in all the feels. Both trying to do what’s right, even if that means giving up each other. I giggled, I teared up, I got happy...I got really sad...I was all over the place in this book. I think this was my fave of all of the maya banks Highlander books.

i think this is my favorite one. keely is such a sweetie and alaric really loved her. it was good to see a different side of caelen as well, because he always seemed growly in the other ones. ewan and mairin were wonderful to see again as well. i felt really badly for keely and alaric, they broke my heart. the whole situation was so unfair and so miserable, but it had the perfect ending of course. i would like to read about gannon....he has been a good strong friend through everything.

I devoured this book. It was so good.
Marriage of ill-convenience? 🤨
Some light wrist tying
Brother to the laird
I am really loving healer/medical heroine romances. This book had so much action… almost too much I could dare to say but won’t because I loved it. The ending had me on the edge of my seat wondering if this story was going to have a happy ending and every guess I had for the direction the story would go - it didn’t. LOVED.

I don't how Maya Banks does it but Seduction of a Highland Lass was even better than In Bed With a Highlander which was a great book!
I can't wait for Never Love a Highlander to come out later this month!!!!
