In the endless battle between the dystopian Agency and the utopian Garden, agents battle across time. Travelling up and down the threads of time, Red and Blue come across one another by pure chance...or is it? Red belongs to the Agency and Blue is part of the Garden, but through a series of letters, their relationship turns from rivals, to friends, to something more. I adored the settings of their letters and the ending completely blew me away. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Holy shit this book rocks my socks off. I genuinely love sci-fi that doesn’t need need a complete explanation or description of super complicated politics. I just need my time & space lesbians and I’m happy :)

Also romance through letters and missives is incredible. Especially when it’s queer.

A beautiful, moving little story about correspondence across timelines. Gladstone and El-Mohtar are skilled in their prose, balancing gorgeous descriptions and metaphors with humor and wit. Their combined imagination and well of knowledge keeps the time-travel element creative and interesting, and the romance ties it all together with a beating heart. If you want yearning and time-travelling sapphics, this is the book for you!

Not sure how exactly to trigger tag someone kissing their lover's childhood self but that part was weird and I didn't like it.
