My Personal Reading Challenge: An anthology of poetry
This was the year I skipped submitting. I forget why. But Tara Soulen entered, and her excellent poems appear here. I'd be very surprised if at least one of them was not among the winners. The rest were the usual mixed bag for this series, ranging from really dang good to okay. Of the teen selections, Livi Chatfield-Scott's "Cornerkeeper" really stood out to me.
It's great to see a wide range of local talent on display, especially among the teens. There's such a variety here that I think it's easy for anybody to find something that appeals to them. I'm sad that the library has discontinued this annual program.
