This book put me into quite the reading slump about halfway through. Ended up taking me 3-4 months to finish. Though it really picked up towards the end for me.

I think I really struggled with all the POVs this time around especially during the moments where everyone was off doing their own thing, rather than how they were often together in the first book.
Olivie's writing is great but I just didn't have as much capacity for all of the details and dictionary checking this time around.

All in all I'm still excited to read Book 3, but this book just didn't scratch the same itch that the first book did.
