ive only ever seen sharon gless in burn notice. she has made such a lasting impact on the world through the roles she has played. she did things her way and that is truly inspiring.

I never watched Cagney & Lacey, and I’m sorry for it after listening to Sharon Gless narrate her interesting life. WHO the heck is this lady, with ties to both Charles Manson and the Royal Family?

I loved Sharon Gless as Debbie on Queer as Folk and I am delighted to learn her real life counterpart is a lot like her and had a lot of input on her character.

3.75 rounded up, not really knowing sharon gless before this made some of the references hard to follow but i fell in love with her by the end. i love to hear stories written by women about their experiences of feeling like an outsider or never fitting in, but finding themselves along the way.

Well, I remember Cagney and Lacey from my childhood. I never really followed Sharon Gless’s career. But I love reading, somewhat obscure memoirs, and discovering things I would never have otherwise discovered. I enjoyed this book thoroughly.

I watched Cagney and Lacey in syndication and loved it. Wow what a great theme song! Anyway, over the years, I have seen Sharon Gless on many shows and she was always great. Yet I was surprised that she wrote a memoir because I only think of her as Chris Cagney. After listening to this book, I now know a woman with flaws who has had an amazing career journey. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook as Sharon is the narrator. She is great and although there are parts of the book that I did find a bit boring, her enthusiasm kept my attention. Last but not least, I love the title of this book.
