🚨Do not read this review if you have not read Feather or Celestial as this may contain spoilers🚨

Naya is the epitome of a good girl. She follows the rules, helps others, and is on track to ascend to Elysium at the age of nineteen. Before she ascends, she wants do something to really help others. When she finds out there is a secret group of fletchings serving as guardian angels, she jumps at the opportunity to join the team. Everyone is excited for her to join except Adam, the leader of the team, who wants nothing to do with her. But when the team is presented with an opportunity to take down a network of Triples, Adam must work with Naya. He shouldn't want the good girl fletching, but something about her feels familiar and no matter what, he can't seem to stay away from her.

This was a good conclusion to the series and wrapped up Leigh and Jarod's story. I enjoyed getting to see Naya and Adam develop their own connection mixed with some of their past lives. I think I cried when Adam first called Naya 'Feather' because it was just so beautiful to see. This is definitely a more plot heavy, which I was surprised by, so their connection took somewhat of a backseat. I do wish we got to see them fall in love a bit more. It was such a slow burn, then went fast, and then it was over. This is definitely my least favorite book of the series and they're my least favorite couple. I'm glad they found their way back together and loved the epilogue so so so much.

I'm so sad this series is over. :( It made me emotional in the best way. It was so beautiful and touching. Truly, I have issues seeing any faults with it because how this story stretched over three books was absolutely stunning.

I will say again, I don't understand how this series isn't talked about more.

Adam and Naya were so interesting to read about because you could see Jardo and Leigh peaking through them, but also they were a bit different in their own ways. If Adam wasn't a bit of an ass, I would've been disappointed. It's canon.

My heart skipped over a few beats as a smile took over my lips. β€œHow do you feel about me?”
His eyes raked over every inch of my face. β€œLike I’ve been searching for you my entire life.”

Almost gave this 4 stars, but certain things towards the end saved the rating. So…5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed the plot in this book a whole lot more than the first two books. While Feather and Celestial are romance heavy, Starlight is heavily driven by the plot. If I had to compare this to any other book I’d say it reminded me of Six of Crows. All-around it felt more organized and less chaotic than the other two. Although I have to admit Celeste and Asher remain my favorite couple.

The underlying theme for the main characters seemed to be stupidity.

The story was once again a little too slow BUT it was quite exciting when it picked up, otherwise the rating would have been lower.

Best book of the series! This book is more plot driven than character driven which feels very different than the first two. This was the perfect way to wrap up the series and tied all three books together very nicely.

I wasn’t planning to read this as far as I can remember but at about 75% the way through the second book I realised it was inevitable. I did go a bit feral for the reincarnated soulmates trope cannot lieeeee. It really snuck up on me but I went into celestial for a a smutty Angel romance and found myself at invested in the cast of characters. On the verge of tears in the third book. Wild! (I was on my period though so)

This is the placeholder for what I am sure is going to be a full on, freaking-out, 5 star review. I cannot wait for this book!
