I put off reading this book for so long... I knew Olivia was going to rip my heart out again and I just wasn't ready for it. Boy am I glad I finally picked this up! Adam and Naya are so different from Jarod and Leigh but so alike at the same time. It was amazing to see little pieces of them peek through. And that ending! Gah! All the feathers to this amazing trilogy!

Absolutely LOVED. Devoured this series in 3.5 days and this one was by far my favorite. Swooned literally every time Adam said “Feather.” Also, DUAL POV?! ❤️❤️ So so good.

Holy cow this was intense. Almost from the first chapter we're plunged into this wild ride that never slows down. I'd almost hesitate to call this a romance... it definitely has romance elements, but I'd say the romantic plot in this takes a back seat to the action in this one.

But that's not necessarily a bad thing, because I had a really, really hard time putting this one down.

I loved this whole series, I've loved the ride Wildenstein has taken us on from book one. But I definitely think the pièce de résistance was this book.

I do have 2...questions? Critiques? Issues? With this one, though. Both of them minor:

1. The "angelic facts" at the beginning of Adam's chapters were idiotic. What makes any of those things facts, let alone Angelic ones? Why did we get them in a random order? Why didn't we get ALL the facts from one - how many ever there are? Just... unnecessary.

2. Naya's black wings glitter and sparkle, right... so does that make her a verity? Or, a kind of verity? (it's obviously revealed that the assumption is they sparkle because of her soul's heritage) How, if that's the case, is she not putting two and two together? She's "known" her whole life that she's got a human mother, and yet her wings have a luster no hybrid has ever had. The fact that NOONE seems to realize this--including the adults in her life--sort of feels like a glaring plothole to me.

Anyway. Read these books. They're great. The end.

Arc received by the author:

4.5// I absolutely loved this book and it was a great ending but it didn’t really live up to the angst of the other two novels! I am so sad this series is coming to an end because I absolutely loved the world building. I loved that we were able to see some of the original characters grow and change with their growth. It was just a nice touch and of course the action was great in here as well. One of the best angel books I have read!!

This series was amazing. Loved every single thing about each book. Why aren’t these books more popular?! Who’s gatekeeping?

I loved this series. Getting to see Adam and Naya grown up and revisit the other people we have met along the way was so special. Adam and Naya were different than Jarod and Leigh, and it felt good getting to know them.

I like how Adam doesn’t seem to understand his attraction and is unable to stay away from Naya, and how protective he seem, Asher is always the protective Apa and is adoring of Naya and it’s endearing to see. I did miss the Asher we got to see in Celestial as he felt different since it was from a father perspective.

It was interesting to see the storyline play out and see it tie into current events. The story wasn’t anything that I expected and the ending had some delightful surprises. I know this is supposed to be the last Angels of Elysium book but I really hope that we get to hear more of what happens in the future and a few other things like what happens in the future. Also I would like to thank Olivia for the ARC.
