Finally. The ending of the Angels of Elysium series deserved. The ending we all deserved after that heartbreaking first book in the series. I think I went into this third book more excited than the other two, knowing who the characters were and what had already transpired.

Naya is the daughter of an archangel, Asher. She's pure and wonderful and everyone who meets her loves her. Her wings are black and glittery. She believes it's because she's the product of an affair between an angel and human. Who else has black feathers? Only one other angel, Adam. Coincidentally, Adam has the same birthday as Naya and his father is best friends with Asher, yet Naya and Adam have never met. Naya signs on to a sinner that she knows will lead her to this angel she's never met but heard of her entire life. Why have their parents kept them apart all these years? The two begin sparring immediately as Naya forces her way into Adam's world and he's downright not ok with her getting involved. So it's odd when Adam can't stop thinking about Naya and she becomes the one thing he wants.

I love how the characters were done in this book. I was actually excited to see how these two would come together again and what they'd remember, if anything.

I am so grateful to have received an arc for this book. It is a fantastic story and it pulls everything together from the entire trilogy. Following the story of Naya and Adam and seeing their similarities from Feather and the little things that are coming through from the past was beautiful. I definitely love the ending and felt like she didn’t leave any strings left untied.

A fantastic end to a beautiful and heartbreaking trilogy.

My first thought when I finished this book was that Feather broke my heart and Starlight pieced it back together. It was a truly incredible second chance romance like none other and I am so glad that Jarod and Leigh finally got their happy ending!

I thought I would be able to make it through this book without crying but I was mistaken. When Adam called Naya Feather for the first time, I just could not stop myself!

A highlight of this book for me was definitely Adam being jealous of Jarod (aka himself!!)

I am so sad that one of my all time favourite series has come to a close but I can't wait to read whatever Olivia writes next!
