Why is it over? I truly love each book in this series and Olivia has written a wonderful final piece with Naya and Adam's story. **Mild spoilers for Feather and Celestial **
We have all been wondering how Naya and Adam were going to end up meeting and learning about their pasts. There is a time jump and Naya and Adam are both working on completing their wings. Naya is incredibly close as her parents want her to ascend as soon as possible. Then the meet up with Adam and all bets are off. Naya and Adam are each unique individuals but you can see the bits of Leigh and Jarod in each of them. I enjoyed how everything was brought about with the storyline of the guardians and the Circle Girls. Especially all the members of Adam's squad, they are fantastic, Galina and Noah in particular. All the different elements of an espionage tale plus angelic politics make for great danger and twists I didn't see coming. Naya and Adam's annoyance with each other along with their undeniable attraction really adds to the tension. And of course having more with Asher and Celeste, all the while knowing how Asher would feel about Adam finding Naya. So many terrific elements here to love and I will so miss this world and all the amazing characters Olivia has created. Gonna miss my angels.

This review contains spoilers!
I was looking forward to this book ever since I read Celestial at the beginning of this year and I was so curious how the series would end since finding out the truth about Adam and Naya. I was not disappointed! I think Olivia wrote a very soothing and satisfying ending to this story, that definitely made up for the ending of the first one, because that was heartbreaking.
It must've been a challenge to write, because you are writing about characters we know, but at the same time we don't. This was executed well. I feel like Jarod and Leigh were present in the story and some of their characteristics were very pronounced in Naya and Adam, but on the other hand they were also made unique in a way that made Adam and Naya their own characters. I liked the little references to their past, for example the nickname Feather.
The world Elysian world Olivia had built with the angels, their traditions, hierarchy and flaws stands so well!! She succeeded in created this whole new world which feels so reel throughout the three books.
It was interesting to see the revenge killings and Venezuelan corruption plot incorporated into the story, but it did fit with the story and in the decisions that needed to be made, you could again distinguish Naya from Adam in their personalities and see the similarities between them and Leigh and Jarod. Also I was kind of curious how it would all unravel. It really took me by surprise that it was Naya who lost all her wings as a consequence to her action. It feels wrong to see that I liked it, but i did haha and Asher coming to the rescue was everything!! A minor critique would be that the ending felt a bit rushed and their were some loose ends (regarding how it ended with the Circle Girls and the prince), but I also realise that it wasn't the main plot of the story.
I still love Asher and Celeste so so much, I really liked seeing them again and their story will forever be my favourite of the three.
A big thanks to Elite Author Services and Olivia Wildenstein for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
