So..... what was the point of signing a D/s contract and then just fucking off without following it? Straight to the dynamic with no discussion in person about the contract?
Mmm but the attention to after care was nice to see represented.

Carson is always talking about breaking all his rules that keep him safe. Some relating to the D/s dynamic and some relating to how he keeps himself emotionally safe. Like... the first few rules you broke,  maybe you should have had an honest, open conversation with your new partner? Hmmm?

Kinda got tired of how often Carson thinks to himself that Mak is perfect/perfect for him.

I love how real this book is with exploring body dysmorphia, even in such a sexual relationship.  The connection between Mak and Carson is exactly what the other needs, and I love the primal kink aspects of the story. I always been like I could read another 200 pages of any of Brianas books, but this one especially. I love the banter between the two of them, and I feel like touching on body dysmorphia of a MMC is an important detail.
