An imaginative book about how do you picture yourself in the concept of a city. Lots of questions mixed with lots of suggestions and city ideas. A great book for creatives or jumping into city exploration.

If You Were a City manages to be both spare and descriptive in its text. This book reminds me of why I love visiting new cities for the first time: to experience the vibe and feel what kind of energy it has. Kyo Maclear's text gives language to the different kinds of energy a city can have.

Illustrations are fucking beautiful. As a city planner I loved this - so much that I think I'll start up a collection of kids books about cities.
