This is such a wonderfully written story with all the cozy fantasy elements but also containing characters that are relatable and diverse. Side note- I love that they’re all named after plants I only just got the dragon’s name as a pun as I was writing this and now I’m cackling. Despite the short size of this story, it still was full of surprises and so much flavor! The representation in it is, of course, one of the major draws, and it was done so elegantly and with a special emphasis on encouraging communication that I absolutely adored. However, the thing that initially drew me to this story was the dragon, and I loved every second of him!!! Give this book a read when you’re looking for a bit of hope in this world. There are stories about people like you out there <3
