I found the anachronistic language unpleasantly startling and frankly I just didn’t like Violet, the main character very much nor any of the side characters or the plot enough to make up for it.

A quick, fun, cozy fantasy that is all for the queer community, especially to affirm those in the trans and aroace community, and holds a very sweet message.

I loved the message in this book but the writing didn’t really connect with me. Could see someone else absolutely loving this though!
