4.25 Only because the message of acceptance was pushed heavily, and sometimes too much. Otherwise I loved the representation and feeling this gave me while reading, I could see myself in Violet and that was nice. Would love to read more by the author soon.

I needed to mix some positivity into my reading and this short book absolutely did the trick. I don't even know what to say about it... it radiates acceptance, there is a huge diversity in the cast (aro/ace protagonist, lesbian couple, two trans characters, people asking other character's pronouns and more diversity between the side characters - and for those who are worried, there are some heterosexual characters too
