Emily Ross never expected to survive her deadly fall in the Costa Rican jungle, and she certainly never thought she’d wake up in a strangely futuristic dwelling, held captive by the most beautiful man she’d ever seen. Zaron is on Earth to facilitate the Krinar invasion—and to forget the terrible tragedy that ripped apart his life. Yet when he finds the broken body of a human girl, everything changes. For the first time in years, he feels something more than rage and grief, and Emily is the reason for that. Letting her go would compromise his mission, but keeping her could destroy him all over again.
This was more like a prequel to the Krinar Mia and Korum trilogy. I did not like Zaron's over possessiveness and Emily's lack of self control. Pretty much all they did was have sex and Emily did not question it because she was too sex crazed.

This is not a romance. This was all about lust and there was nothing romantic about their dynamic. Their interactions were borderline r*pe most of the time.

Anna Zaires has done it again with yet another book about those aliens and to answer your question, no, my need for even more books about them has not yet subsided.
This book was all I expected and MORE. And yet, I'm still greedy for even more books in the Krinar universe:
Emily and the hero had great chemistry from the start and the Scifi effects in the book were just enough, not overbearing but not too little either.
If you were a fan of Mia and Korum's story, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
Enjoy!

Meh. Glad I didn't spend money on this but sad I wasted a Hoopla borrow on it.
I enjoyed other books by this author, but this did not work for me.
The sexy times were fine as spicy novels go, but I could not maintain a suspension of disbelief. The relationship between MCs just didn't add up and felt shoehorned.

I didn't even know there is a whole series dedicated to alien love, now I have to add an alien shelf.
Amazon was like hey read this, and I was like well sure.
Tormentor Mine was a great book, which I'm afraid left me in a bit of a funk, so I'm like hey I'll read some paranromal, and by the same author. Hells yeah
This author always makes the bad guy so freaking lovable, which usually is something I complain about.
Which doesn't make much sense, but what can you do?
So why 3 stars? It was a bit slow for me, I kept thinking 15 more days?
I know this review is a bit vague, but I really want to start this series because I'm all out of order. I think I might like this alien stuff.

An enjoyable prequel to the Krinar Chronicles. I enjoyed Emily and Zaron's relationship and how it developed. It teetered on the line between romantically possessive and creep/clingy possession but it never toppled over. The story was also good for not dumping unnecessary information on the reader. We learn what we need to, not what the author wants to show off. I'm going to find Delia and Arus's (excuse me if the names aren't right) story too because I really enjoy this writer and the world she has built.
