This was an excellent biography until the author took “creative license” to describe Kurt’s final days. Why do that? It is rather disturbing reading his final days up to his suicide as a fictional story. If you decide to pick this book up skip chapter 24 and go straight to the epilogue.

Being a huge Nirvana fan as a teenager when this book first came out. I remember getting to the store the day it did. I think I read it within a day or two. It’s probably one of the better biographical depictions of his life than I’ve read.
