I absolutely loved this story! Just when you think you know what’s going to happen next, there is another delicious twist or turn. I absolutely love Morgan and the friendship between her and Lexie is #friendshipgoals

This spicy fantasy romance delivers! Morgan, the book-loving protagonist, is a breath of fresh air – sweet, thoughtful, and strong when needed.  Her supportive and empowering friendship with Lexie is a highlight, a refreshing portrayal of female bonds.

Drager, the dragon shifter MMC, is a mixed bag. Hot but arrogant, he has potential for redemption (thankfully!).  The introduction of his brooding, hotter brother Zahak throws a wrench into the romance – is a love triangle brewing? With book two readily available, this cliffhanger is a clever way to keep you turning the pages.

The world-building and plot are well-developed, and the steamy scenes only enhance the story. Overall, a thrilling fantasy romance with a captivating heroine and a tantalizing glimpse into a world filled with secrets and simmering desire.

I will say that I really like the story. But the writing is incredibly bad. It sounded very immature and simplistic. There were definitely a few moments where I was reading it and thought that this is the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. It was unnecessarily slow. About 50 to 100 pages could’ve been cut. I also hate that a random love triangle is happening. The only way that this could end and I will enjoy it is if she ends up with both of them. That’s the only way. Also, the cliffhanger was so abrupt. I will say I’m open to reading the second book but with the knowledge that there won’t be a third.
