It was okay. The characters weren't too compelling or interesting. The plot moved a bit slow, especially once they got to the academy. Side characters weren't very developed or relevant. I probably won't continue the series.

Gilded Wings is the first in the Fallen Fae Gods duology and was absolutely fantastic. I don't have a lot of experience with Fantasy romance, but I LOVED every minute of reading this book. I read it from beginning to end and only put it down when I absolutely had to. This is fast moving and had so many elements that I loved from a bookworm, librarian heroine to a dominant, protective dragon-shifter hero. The steamy scenes come on fairly fast and we follow along as Morgan, a human, ends up having to be brought along into another realm when Drager, a dragon-shifting God, needs her to help him identify a traitor.
I really don't want to spoil this one, but I loved how fast-paced it was, all the steamy scenes as well as the chemistry that jumps off the page between not only her and Drager, but also with his twin Zahak, and I enjoyed the full cast of characters that we meet while reading this story. Academy settings are among my favorites, and we get that in here as well. The only bummer is having to wait to get the second half of this one - I'll be counting the time down!

It was just an odd beginning and then she is locked with the king for 30 days seemed a little much. I stopped there and didn’t look back.
Honestly I really liked this book it's a simple read, one that you do for guilty pleasure.
A good read
Sometimes you just need some good dragon smut. If there was anything lacking in this book it would probably be the lack of smut throughout it. I mean for a book that starts off with a fae orgy we only get 3 more scenes. But otherwise, a great read.
