The story is based on an experience that the author had with his son in 2017 to experience the solar eclipse. Would pair it with A Few Beautiful Minutes: Experiencing a Solar Eclipse by Kate Allen Fox, Illustrated by Khoa Le (Little, Brown - 2023)
